Solibri API - Solibri Superrun
Since: 26.9.0
Solibri Superrun is a feature in Solibri Premium for building and automating repeatable workflows. It is available in Solibri 26.9.0 and later. You compose a sequence of actions—such as opening models, running checks, coloring and isolating components, taking snapshots, creating presentations, and exporting BCF or Excel reports—in the Superrun view, and Solibri executes them one after another. Workflows are stored as .superrun files, so you can rerun, share, and schedule them.
Superrun covers the same automation ground as Solibri Autorun and adds visualization, camera, selection, and measurement actions that Autorun does not have. Where Autorun is authored by hand in XML, a Superrun is normally authored in the user interface: you pick actions from a searchable list, fill in their parameters, reorder them, disable individual steps, validate the workflow, and run it.
Superrun needs local or network paths to input files and output locations. Remote files from a connected cloud provider can be referenced as well, and if your cloud service exposes a synced folder on disk you can point Superrun at that folder.
A Superrun can be started from the Superrun view, by double-clicking a .superrun file, or by passing the file path to Solibri on the command line—on both Windows and macOS. Each run consumes one Autorun seat from your license quota.
Quick example
The following workflow opens an IFC model, loads a ruleset, runs a check, saves the project as an SMC file, and closes Solibri:
{
"version": 1,
"name": "Quick check",
"actions": [
{
"type": "OPEN_MODEL",
"params": {
"file": "C:\\Users\\Public\\Solibri\\SOLIBRI\\Samples\\ifc\\Solibri Building.ifc",
"grid_visible": true
},
"enabled": true
},
{
"type": "OPEN_RULESET",
"params": {
"file": "C:\\Users\\Public\\Solibri\\SOLIBRI\\Rulesets\\Architectural Rules\\BIM Validation - Architectural.cset"
},
"enabled": true
},
{
"type": "CHECK",
"params": { "scope": "all" },
"enabled": true
},
{
"type": "SAVE_MODEL",
"params": {
"output_path": "C:\\Users\\Public\\Solibri\\SOLIBRI\\Samples\\models\\Solibri Building Checked.smc"
},
"enabled": true
},
{
"type": "EXIT",
"params": {},
"enabled": true
}
]
}
Save the file (for example as my-workflow.superrun) and run:
Windows:
"C:\Program Files\Solibri\SOLIBRI\Solibri.exe" "C:\path\to\my-workflow.superrun"
macOS:
/Applications/Solibri/Solibri.app/Contents/MacOS/Solibri "/path/to/my-workflow.superrun"
Each action corresponds to something you can also do manually in Solibri Premium. See Solibri Superrun Actions for the full list of supported actions and parameters.
